LANCASTER, NEW YORK (October 7, 2009)  "Unbelievable!" said Paul Young after winning the 2009 Joe's Transmission TNT Super Series championship.  "The car was incredible all year and to win by just five points is awesome!"

The Alden, NY racer was crowned on Saturday during the final TNT Super Series event at Dunn Tire Raceway Park (DTRP) in Lancaster, NY - presented by Scott Jahren Paint.  And it was Sam Lovetro Jr from Webster, NY taking the event win over Jeff Sobczynski of Depew, NY in a double break-out final round.

The weather was iffy at best, yet 17 of the best sportsman drag racers in the area came out to tackle the 1/8th mile at DTRP in what turned out to be an action-packed day.  After qualifying fourth at 7.007...

CANFIELD, ONTARIO (September 28, 2009)  The 2009 Joe's Transmission TNT Super Series champion will be determined this Saturday October 3rd when the series returns to Dunn Tire Raceway Park (DTRP) in Lancaster, New York.  A total of 45 racers have battled all summer long through 11 events and 55 rounds of competition with some of the best side-by-side sportsman drag racing in the southern Ontario / western New York area.  Scott Jahren Paint presents the season finale and the competition is expected to be as tough as ever...

CAYUGA, ONTARIO (September 9, 2009)  Sunny skies and warm temperatures prevailed this past weekend as the Joe's Transmission TNT Super Series invaded Cayuga Dragway for the Labour Day Weekend Blast.  Bieda's Powersports presented the double-header event that saw 21 of the best heads up sportsman racers square off.  When the smoke cleared, it was David Surmatchewski of Oakland, Ontario and Gary Kerl of Williamsville, New York left standing - both past winners in TNT Hot Rod.

In addition, Gary moved himself solidly into third place in the TNT points standings.  And the chase for the 2009 championship is narrowed down to two possible contenders...

LANCASTER, NEW YORK (August 26, 2009)  The Joe's Transmission TNT Super Series returned to action with all cylinders firing last Friday August 21st at Dunn Tire Raceway Park (DTRP) in Lancaster, NY.  The event  presented by 24 Hour Tire Service was the ninth of twelve this year.  21 cars competed and Ken Jozwiak found himself once again in the DTRP winner's circle.

Qualifying in the 7th position with a 7.012, Ken had his 1969 Nova set on kill.  And it needed to be because the field was extremely tough this night with the top ten qualifiers all better than 7.018 on the 7.00 index...

LANCASTER, NEW YORK (July 8, 2009)  The Joe's Transmission TNT Super Series proved why it is known as one of the toughest sportsman series around during this past weekend's pair of events at Dunn Tire Raceway Park (DTRP) in Lancaster, New York.  The two events in one weekend, presented by Steve's Electric Co, saw 24 racers and incredible levels of competition.  Friday's qualifying sheet saw five racers make dead-on 7.00 passes and Saturday had seven more.  Four of them were in the first session!

  The Joe's Transmission TNT Super Series rolls into Dunn Tire Raceway Park (DTRP) this weekend for its first-ever double event in the United States.  "We're pretty excited to have two events in one weekend at DTRP," said Ted Barnes, TNT Series Director. It's another double-header for the popular sportsman series with Saturday's TNT event presented by The Balancing Act and Sunday's by Performance Improvements.
