REVS Full Throttle Powersports to present TNT Super Series Race of Champions for next three years
Prestigious race for past winners set for Saturday August 30th!
ST CATHARINES, ONTARIO (January 27, 2014) Officials with the Joe’s Transmission TNT Super Series are excited to announce a new sponsor for its annual race of champions, REVS Full Throttle Powersports in St Catharines, Ontario.
What started three years ago as an idea to showcase the talent in the Joe’s Transmission TNT Super Series, the REVS Full Throttle Powersports TNTSS Race of Champions will see the highly coveted event through to at least 2016 and will take the series to its tenth season.
Kasey Janzen of REVS Full Throttle Powersports has been supporting the TNTSS in many ways since the series began. "It just made sense for us to get behind the race of champions. Performance is what we're all about and this race brings out the best of the best," said Kasey.
The 2014 ROC will take place on Saturday August 30th at St Thomas Raceway Park after the regular race that day and will be run on the 1/8 mile.
This race is open to any TNTSS racer who has won an event at any time in the series history. It is free to enter and pays out $1200 to the winner, $400 to the runner-up. "Currently there are 30 drivers eligible for the ROC. Each race leading up to the ROC is another chance for someone to get into the race or to improve their qualifying position," said Ted Barnes, TNTSS Director.
Previous TNTSS ROC winners include JJ Jablonski, Jamie Stoneman and Paul Young. "I would expect to see all these guys at this year's REVS Full Throttle Powersports TNTSS Race of Champions!" added Ted.

About the Joe's Transmission TNT Super Series (TNTSS):
Since it began in 2006, the TNT Super Series has grown into one of the strongest, most competitive sportsman drag racing series in North America and has catapulted many competitors to success on the national and divisional stages.
The TNTSS is a self-governing organization with input from its teams. Based on NHRA’s Super Street & IHRA’s Hot Rod classes, competitors run on a 10.90 index in the 1/4 mile (7.00 in the 1/8 mile) and race for a guaranteed purse that pays back more than 100% of the racer's entry fees. The yearend points fund provides cash & prizes to the top eight finishers and the Series Champion receives a prize package worth over $4000.00.
The TNTSS is committed to providing the highest level of competition backed by solid media support to showcase its participants across North America.
