TNT Super Series at Cayuga Dragway this weekend for two races PLUS annual RACE OF CHAMPIONS

CAYUGA, ONTARIO (August 27, 2014) A schedule change earlier this month sees the Joe's Transmission TNT Super Series returning to Cayuga Dragway at Toronto Motorsports Park this Labour Day weekend to be a part of the Canadian Funny Car Championships.
With a points battle the tightest it has been in years and only four races left on the 2014 schedule, look for the TNTSS race teams giving all they've got this weekend, presented by Rosehill Auction House. The points spread between first and tenth place is only 77 points. That may sound like a lot however with 32 qualifying points up for grabs at each race, that gap can disappear quickly.
Saturday's race will be run the full quarter mile while Sunday's race and the REVS Full Throttle Powersports RACE OF CHAMPIONS (ROC) will be run to the eighth mile.
The ROC is a no entry fee, $1200/win, $400/ru race open to only past winners in the TNTSS. Thirty-one drivers are qualified based on number of wins, runner-up's, etc. There are no actual qualifying sessions on the track. SATURDAY'S RACE IS THE FINAL CHANCE TO GET IN TO THIS YEAR'S ROC.
