2011 TNT Super Series Champion

OAKLAND, ONTARIO (November 10, 2011)  Five years.  That's how long it's been since the Joe's Transmission TNT Super Series had its first Canadian event and Dave Surmatchewski took his 1983 Cutlass to victory in what was then, his first race in 10.90 trim.  Since those days, Dave has achieved a third place finish in the 2008 TNTSS points chase, a second place in 2010 and two runner-ups in IHRA competition.  This year, the Oakland Ontario racer closed the deal and won his first Joe's Transmission TNT Super Series championship, bringing the title back to Canada for 2011...

SPARTA, ONTARIO (August 24, 2011)  Competitors in the Joe’s Transmission TNT Super Series took on the 1/8th mile at St Thomas Raceway Park this past weekend for a spectacular two day drag racing event in partnership with the Can Am Stock / Super Stock Series.  Thanks to many supporters and volunteers, Saturday's racer barbeque raised over $1000 that will be donated to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in memory of Tim Thorne.  The weekend was a terrific celebration of Tim's life and his impact on the local drag racing community...
